Shaylee

Shaylee Flax traveled from Wakeeny to attend Fort Hays State University this fall. She plans to further her education at Kansas State and brings a strong desire to learn to The Animal Hospital. After growing up with three dogs, Tanner, Dakota and Xazier, she gets satisfaction from knowing she is helping animals and building relationships with them every day at the hospital. As much as she loves animals, Shaylee is grateful for the opportunity to learn from a team that she reports works well even under pressure and where so many people with diverse experiences can come together all in the name of practicing great medicine. After a day of shadowing at The Animal Hospital, Shaylee enjoys spending time with her family, pets, and friends.
